Richard Walters encourages us to Regret Less with new single “Blossom”

This song incorporates a backdrop of plucked strings which sounds vaguely Eastern-influenced, providing a perfect backdrop for Richard Walters’ airy vocals on this hit-worthy track from his album Regret Less. The UK-based songwriter sings in a breathy falsetto, luring us unto the song of love and longing while drawing comparisons to artists crossing the spectrum from Billie MacKenzie to Andrew Bird. If this isn’t enough to win you over, fall head over heels for his epic, haunting version of “Time in a Bottle” by Jim Croce which manages to transform a song we’ve all heard into something magnificently new. I’ve got to keep both ears on this guy in the future if I’m going to keep up!
